It was on January 2010 when I received news that my brain exploded. Yes, exploded. Well, not literally but I learned I had a cerebral cavernous malformation. Life sucked after that. Imagine being hungover and you just finished riding one of those carnival rides that defies gravity by spinning you around really fast. Yeah, that's exactly what I went through for MONTHS. I was finally scheduled for brain surgery and ended up with 2 operations as the first was unsuccessful. Long story short, after 3 weeks in the hospital I was given a chance to regain 'normalcy'. I started out crawling about in the house to using a roller walker to holding onto someone and then I was able to drive.

Two years later, I am so much better! It's all because of my daily exercise. I still have a slight vertigo but it's better than yester-year. This blog is quickly turning into a fitblr as I will chronicle my ups & downs, ideas, and motivations. I will also include things I fancy .

My #2 fitness goal is to lose one inch all around...especially, the stomach area!
#1 is returning to my original state of balance and coordination. :]
